Mrs Hanna Bienkowska is a professional designer and dressmaker having won the Golden Needle award for Poland.
She received her training at Warsaw's prestigious Technical Clothing School in patterning, modelling, cutting, sewing, and colour selection.
She graduated in the top of her class and began her apprenticeship at "LEDA", a state-owned manufacturer of women's clothing. As a talented young seamstress, Ms. Bieńkowska worked in the editorial office of "Swiat Mody" ("Fashion World") magazine. She also made women's clothing for fashion shows as a member of the clothing society, "Moda i Styl" ("Fashion and Style").
In 1981 Ms. Bieńkowska opened her own business, making custom clothes to order. Her customers included diplomats, business women, and entertainers. Later Ms. Bieńkowska worked in the UK, where she made women's clothing for individual clients, as well as ready-to-wear products for a number of boutiques on Oxford Street in London.
Her education and professional experience provide her with a strong feel for market demands and trends. Simply put, she specialises in elegant clothing that is both comfortable and fashionable.
She also writes articles and advices in the following magazines: "Punkt", "Pasmo", "Panna Mloda", "Moda & Styl", "Boutique", "Kurier Warszawski", "W zdrowym stylu".
Simultaneously Ms Bienkowska is the owner of the trading company HANNAH , importing the decorative ribbons and Velcro.
